Our Story

What began as Naughty Gym has evolved into AYA Society.

We started in 2020 with a mission to create a welcoming fitness and coaching community for people who often felt overlooked or judged. As our community grew, so did our vision.

What started with workouts became so much more. Today, we bring people together through fitness, coaching, education, podcasts, books, retreats, and meaningful experiences that inspire healthier lives and deeper connections.

AYA stands for As You Are. It’s a reminder that everyone deserves to be welcomed exactly as they are, challenged to come alive, and encouraged to never stop playing.

While our name has changed, our mission hasn’t. We’re here to help people come alive through health, relationships, education, and authentic connection.

Meet April

April is a fitness & health coach, speaker, co-author of Wild Love Theory, and lifelong advocate for helping people feel stronger, healthier, and more confident in who they are. With more than 23 years of experience in fitness, nutrition, and behavior change, she has helped thousands of people improve not only their physical health but their overall quality of life.

Known for her warmth, honesty, and ability to create genuine connection, April leads many of Naughty Gym's (AYA Society) coaching programs, retreats, and community experiences. She believes meaningful transformation happens when people feel seen, supported, and accepted exactly as they are.

Meet Scott

Scott is a coach, speaker, author, and entrepreneur with a passion for helping people question assumptions and build more intentional lives. After co-founding Naughty Gym, he became known for leading thought provoking conversations about relationships, autonomy, communication, and personal growth.

As co-author of Wild Love Theory, Scott combines philosophy, practical tools, and real life experience to help people create relationships built on authenticity rather than fear. Whether he’s coaching, teaching, or leading workshops, his goal is always the same: helping people think differently so they can live more fully.
